Designed for indoor or outdoor applications, intended for medium-sized compartments, it protects rooms from drafts, humidity, dust, steam and contaminants and finds easy installation in retail stores, clean room, automated industrial systems, food and pharmaceutical industries.
GRAFLEX S.r.l. under the brand name COIL, a leading manufacturer on the market of industrial and commercial closures, expands its range of vertically coiling rapid roll-up doors with the introduction of the ARIX Model, a compact and fast door intended for installation in retail, clean rooms, automated industrial systems, food and pharmaceutical industries.

The footprint of the supporting structure has been reduced in order to make maximum use of the passage in height and width and to satisfy installation in medium-sized compartments ( max 4000 mm x H 4000 mm). The two side uprights are ‘slim’ and have a beveled line, with a linear design but retaining strength and durability.
The upper cassette is made of two blocks, protects the roller for winding the curtain and is easily inspected. The motor, which can be positioned on the right or left side of the door, can be easily inspected, thanks to the removable casing.

The frame can be made of galvanized steel, which can be painted in RAL colors upon request, or with an elegant and easy-to-clean INOX steel finish.
The mantle slides linearly in the self-lubricating polyzene side guides, located inside the two uprights; the door thus minimizes the passage of air and dirt infiltrazini.
The opening and closing cycles are extremely fast (speeds of up to 2 m/sec with significant energy savings and isolation between rooms from contaminants.
The side guides and the entire structure absorb operation-related vibrations, making it one of the quietest doors on the market.

ARIX comes standard with Class E Barrier Safety Photocells, incorporated into the uprights and placed at different heights, on both sides of passage, for coverage up to 2 m from the ground. These safety devices detect any obstacles and reverse the descent of the mantle. It can also be combined with all opening and security systems, such as radar, remote pre-commands, access with alphanumeric codes or badge readers, flashing warning devices, etc.

The control panel is fully electronically controlled with absolute multi-turn Encoder and, in the version with inverter, allows the management/customization of the upward and downward speeds of the curtain and of the slowing down in the limit switch phases, in opening and closing. The curtain is made of flexible Trevira fabric, self-extinguishing in Class 2 of 900 g/m2, with a self-repairing zipper system in case of impact, wind resistant up to Class 3 and equipped as standard with a row of transparent windows to give ample visibility between rooms.

ARIX also is designed to minimize installation time, thanks to internal mounting arrangements, and pre-wired electrical connections.

ARIX can be connected to other COIL rapid doors with interlocking logic (when one of the doors is opened, the other door remains closed), which allows for access control and transits of people and/or materials, necessary, in particular, in contamination-controlled environments.

For aesthetic, corporate identity or traffic regulation purposes, a digital print can be applied to the curtain.

The ARIX vertical coiling rapid door, is covered by a standard 12-month warranty and has been tested to 1,000,000 open/close cycles.
