AgroPharma is a fast up-rolling door specially designed for dividing processing and storage departments.

The main door benefits are: the compact design, a positive tight-proof and easy operation. AgroPharma allows to separate areas with different environments and worker transit with no operating barriers.

The door can be opened manually or automatically.

The AgroPharma is a special version of COIL roll-up doors, with specific features and design for use in the food processing and the pharmaceutical industries.

AgroPharma is a new concept in the High Speed Door trade as it breaches the traditional door configuration.

The usual basic design: ” steel frame, drive motor, flexible curtain, safety photocells control box”, has been revamped by COIL. A new solution has been developed for best isolation of processing departments and/or storage rooms with individual controlled environments.

For these applications, a possibility to install ” high speed roll-up automatic doors” is a welcome convenience for both plant designers and operators.

The AgroPharma function is : “automate” operators traffic and “isolate” rooms with different environments with no need for sectional barriers. These room environments usually require doors with special features such as :

  • Frequent wash down capability This is mandatory in the food processing industry
  • Positive air tight feature . In the chemical-pharmaceutical and food industries the processing rooms are rated “white area”, thus their individual environments are over-pressurized to prevent outside pollution from entering. More the door is airtight less the energy costs to keep the room over pressurized will be.
  • Reliable operation Due to these special environments this automatic door must operate without special maintenance downtime. The AgroPharma door can be fitted with an optional “Crash and Self Repair” system. In case of an accidental crash, the curtain will exit the side tracks and it will slide back into its operating position. This enables the door to become fully operative automatically.
